Some of My Titles

Most of my writing gets published under other people’s names, but here is a small sampling.

The Father Glorified

The Father Glorified, by Patrick Robertson, David Watson, and Gregory C. Benoit (Thomas Nelson, 2013). This is the sequel to Miraculous Movements (see below), but this book reads like a novel. It is a compilation of true stories from around the world, detailing the miraculous ways in which God is manifesting Himself to people of all walks of life. You will be thrilled by what you read, I guarantee it! (Available June 2013)

Pharaoh's Magicians: Evolution, the Bible, and Modern Gnosticism
Pharaoh’s Magicians: Evolution, the Bible, and Modern Gnosticism, by Gregory C. Benoit (Wipf and Stock, 2011). This book began as an investigation into whether or not the Bible can be made to endorse the theories of evolution, but in the process of writing it I discovered that the church today is infected with the ancient heresy of Gnosticism. Pharaoh’s Magicians looks closely at the Bible text, especially the early chapters of Genesis, to consider what it teaches about the origin of the human race. It also looks closely at many modern Bible commentaries, exposing the lies and false doctrines that are being widely accepted as truth.

Reflections on Words of the New Testament, by W. E. Vine and Gregory C. Benoit (Thomas Nelson, 2011). This book is a devotional based upon the famous New Testament Greek dictionary of W. E. Vine. It contains a selection of entries from his dictionary, which I’ve edited and modernized for clarity (without cutting any of the “meat” of the entries). Each is followed by a short devotional thought which applies the principles of Scripture to everyday life.

Classic Reflections on Scripture, by W. E. Vine and Gregory C. Benoit (Thomas Nelson, 2012). This book is another devotional based upon the lesser-known writings of W. E. Vine. It presents excerpts from his commentaries and expository books, which I’ve edited for clarity, and each is followed by a short devotional which takes Scriptural principles and applies them to everyday life. Available Spring 2012.

Miraculous Movements

Miraculous Movements: How Hundreds of Thousands of Muslims are Falling in Love with Jesus, by Jerry Trousdale [and Gregory C. Benoit] (Thomas Nelson, 2012). This book is scheduled to be available in March 2012. It tells the stories of many people who are leaving Islam and embracing Jesus the Messiah as their Lord and Savior. It combines real-life accounts of how Muslims are coming to Christ and being transformed by His saving grace, together with important how-to information on sharing the gospel with those who presently reject Christ.
